Pro Bono Legal Services

Justice should never be a privilege—it should be a right.

At Arora & Arora Advocates, we are deeply committed to using our legal expertise for the greater good. Our Pro Bono Legal Services reflect our belief that access to justice must be available to all—regardless of income, background, or circumstance.

What is Pro Bono?

“Pro bono publico” is a Latin phrase meaning “for the public good.” Pro bono legal work involves offering free legal assistance to individuals, communities, or organizations who are unable to afford legal representation, especially in matters of significant public interest, human rights, or social justice.

Our Commitment

We believe that lawyers have a responsibility to contribute to a fair and just society. Our team takes on a select number of pro bono cases each year, dedicating our time and resources to help:

  • Individuals who cannot afford legal counsel in civil or criminal matters
  • Non-profit organizations and charities that serve marginalized communities
  • Victims of domestic violence, child abuse, or workplace exploitation
  • Underrepresented individuals in need of legal protection or advocacy

Areas We Support

While we evaluate each request individually, we prioritize pro bono cases in areas such as:

  • Human Rights & Civil Liberties
  • Women & Child Welfare
  • Criminal Defense for the Indigent
  • Employment & Labour Issues
  • Public Interest Litigation (PIL)
  • Legal Aid for NGOs and Social Causes
